Blythe for Target

This kind of makes me happy. Gina Garan, the photographer/author of such amazing books as "This Is Blythe" has received, presumably, a hefty paycheck for her latest project: Blythe dolls modeling Alexander McQueen's new Target line. Fascinating. I'm not sure if I really like the design of the ads.... but I'm happy Gina Garan is getting some work. So weird. It makes me miss my Little Big Eyes Blythe ripoff doll from Walgreens.

Current Listening.

Marice Blane - What Does A Girl Do?, 1963
This song seems to be all about a teenage girl losing her virginity in the backseat of a car. Pretty great. Quite catchy. Almost as good as Bobby's Girl.
Billy J Kramer & The Dakotas - Little Children, 1964Creepy. It's supposedly about getting his girlfriend's siblings out of the way so that he can get it on with his woman... but the first verse just sounds like he's a child molester.
Royksopp - Happy Up Here, 2009New Royksopp! Me likes. Me likes.
Mandy More - Come With Me To Jesus, 1972OMG. This song is good. If anybody can find the rest of her songs, please email them to me.
