ok. so Paula Cole is not exactly my favorite singer or anything. i can't even call her a guilty pleasure because i don't really get that much pleasure from her music or anything... but i downloaded "where have all the cowboys gone?" today. I love that song. after listening, i looked her up on wikipedia and discovered that she is really quite a credible artist. she self produced and wrote all of the songs on that album (This Fire) and it's just nice to know that people with a vision and talent can still make it in the popular music world.... oh wait. that was 12 years ago. never mind.
